The founders of this non-profit organization (Dr. Edward Mairura and Selina Mairura) are Kenyan immigrants to the United States who have gone on to achieve success in their professional lives but believe in the mantra of giving back to the communities that laid the roots for their lives. Dr. Mairura is currently an orthopedic surgeon working for the Methodist Medical Group (Methodist Health System) in Dallas, TX. He has been featured on Kenya’s Doctors Diary a popular KTN News health segment show as well as the Standard Newspaper. Selina Mairura is a legal consultant for Turner and Townsend in Dallas Texas. The non-profit organization was featured recently on the Kenyan news platform Citizen TV and Radio.
